This Privacy Policy explains how MR. MAESTRO ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares your personal data when you visit or buy from mrmaestro.eu, sign up for our newsletter, leave a review or contact us (together, the "Services"). "You" means anyone who uses the Services, whether a customer, a visitor or anyone else.

2. What data we collect
Data you give us directly
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, address
- Order details: billing and shipping address, what you ordered, payment confirmation. We never see or store your full card details. Our payment providers handle those.
- Account details: email, password and your order history, if you create an account
- Newsletter: your email address and your consent to receive emails
- Reviews: your name, rating, review text and any photos you upload
- Customer service: anything you tell us when you contact us
Data we collect automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, where you came to our site from and your approximate location

Data from third parties
- Shopify (our e-commerce platform), payment providers, delivery companies, review apps, and advertising and analytics partners such as Meta and Google

4. Who we share your data with
We only share your data when it's needed to provide the Services:
- Shopify: hosts our online store
- Payment providers: such as Shopify Payments, card networks, Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Delivery and logistics partners: to get your order to you
- Email and marketing tools: to send our newsletter (only if you subscribed)
- Review platforms: to collect and display customer reviews
- Analytics and advertising partners: such as Google and Meta (only if you accept cookies)
- Accountants, legal advisers and authorities: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Cookies
We use:
- Essential cookies: needed for the site, shopping cart and checkout to work. These are always on.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the site
- Marketing cookies: used to show you relevant ads

6. How long we keep your data
- Invoices and accounting records: 8 years, as Hungarian accounting law requires (Act C of 2000, §169)
- Order and customer service data: as long as needed for warranty and legal claims, usually up to 5 years
- Account data: until you delete your account
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe
- Reviews: until you ask us to remove them
- Cookies: see the cookie banner for how long each one lasts
7. International data transfers
Some of our service providers, such as Shopify, Google and Meta, may process your data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases we rely on EU Commission adequacy decisions (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or Standard Contractual Clauses, so that your data stays properly protected.
8. Children
Our Services are not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Our store runs on Shopify's secure infrastructure, and all payments are encrypted. Still, no system is 100% secure.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- see the personal data we hold about you (access)
- have incorrect data corrected (rectification)
- have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten")
- limit how we use your data (restriction)
- receive your data in a portable format (portability)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest or used for direct marketing
- withdraw your consent at any time. This doesn't affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.

11. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at [your email]. We take every request seriously and will do our best to resolve it.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live, where you work, or where the alleged infringement took place.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. For major changes, we will also let you know directly where the law requires it.
